30 In one day your life can change completely
A friend sent me this reflection that I want to share:
Sometimes I do evaluations of my life. In one of those moments, I came across the story of the car driver Michael Shumacher.
When I studied his resume as an athlete I saw that he was:
– Winner of the 1991 Grand Prix
– He was 7 (seven times) world champion of Formula 1
Happiness was in his life, but in one day his story and his destiny changed completely
Today, with just 44 kilos of weight, he struggles to “survive” since December 2013.
His wife begins to sell their properties to cover the expenses and thus be able to keep him alive in a room adapted to his house, where he lies like a vegetable.
Here comes a question: Who is better than whom?
Life can take directions never imagined.
It’s amazing how in an instant everything can change.
And in certain circumstances, they are useless: money, titles, fame, success, power.
We are all the same.
So what’s the pride?
So that arrogance? So that the insults? So that attachment to material goods?
Everything we have should be day by day; so that we can live it with passion and enjoy it to the fullest, doing good and full of joy.
We need to stop creating problems, reclaim insignificant things, and much less than “something takes our lives.”
As in the game of chess, in the end, both the King and the Pawn are kept in the same box.
It is worth examining what we have done.
We are born without bringing anything. We die without taking away anything.
And the sad thing is that in the interval between life and death, we fight for what we did not bring and even for what we will not take.
Let’s think about that, live longer, love more, always pardon and be happier!
As I said, a friend sent me this reflection, and I want to share it with each one of you because it seemed an interesting reflection for those who have cancer or do not have cancer.
Hopefully, we never forget that to be great you have to be humble. God bless you.
