39 Sadness with Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade
The suicide of Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade makes it clear that happiness is not in anything external that one can achieve, obtain or have.
Kate managed to be recognized and forged a great empire in fashion by doing what she loved. Anthony ate for free at Michelin-starred restaurants. He traveled in first-class throughout the world. He had a job that for many is the ideal job. He had an incredible voice and an imposing personality, but some years he had problems with heroin, crack cocaine and alcohol.
Anthony Bourdain and Kate Spade “had they all” however they took their own lives by hanging themselves. This acts shows us once again that happiness is not in money, success, fame, achieve your dreams, or in absolutely nothing that one can reach outside of oneself.
The only and real happiness is that which is born of being.
It is something that emanates from the center of the heart for no other reason than the pure and magical enthusiasm of ecstasy in the joy of being alive. And it is not for any external cause.
“If you are not happy with what you have, you will not be happy with what you lack, because the door of happiness opens inwards and if you try to open it outwards you will close it even more.”
