43 The Peace coming from Psalm 23

Many people who read the Bible says Psalm 23 is the most powerful of the entire Psalms that give inner peace to the persons who read it thinking carefully in each word. This Psalm called “The Lord is my Shepherd” is helpful in difficult moments. Its words, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley,” give peace and security to the reader. This poetry is another important verse to repeat in those bad circumstances. Try it for yourself with faith, and you will receive its great benefits. Here it is:

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever

Comments for a person with cancer:

Nothing I lack means that I will have health. When I am exhausted from my nerves, I will rest in green pastures, and if my strength falters in still waters, He will make me rest.

He will calm my anxiety. He is my guide when I look for my best cancer treatments. If my doctors tell me that they cannot do anything for me, I will not fear because He will encourage me.

He prepares all the good news for me in the presence of people who see everything bad in my health. He gives me the energy every day to live as best as I can.

In spite of my cancer, I will feel very well filled with his mercy. I am sure that I will live with Him in heaven every day after my death.

Many have learned all the psalm of memory being I one of them. I repeat it in any difficult situation that happens, and it gives me great peace of mind. The difficult situation can be a disease such as cancer or another chronic disease. Use it in adversity, whatever it may be, and you will feel tranquility and peace.

These comments of Psalm 23 have been dedicated to all people who have cancer. Meditate on it in this way, and you will feel very good.
